She is experienced with hedging instruments, financial derivatives, corporate policy formulation and implementation, as well as interfacing with regulators. She is a foremost maritime security expert and energy analyst, consulting for major operators globally.  As the principal promoter and founding member of Dutchford Exploration and Production (E&P), she brings a wealth of experience and industry expertise to Dutchford’s management and board.

Olatimbo is the Group CEO of Dutchess Energy Ltd, the majority shareholder of Dutchford E&P. Under her leadership, the Dutchess Group grew to become a major player in the oil and gas industry where she facilitated trades in crude oil, liquefied petroleum gas, condensate, fuel oils and white products.  Olatimbo managed the exponential growth of Dutchess in product distribution; successfully positioning the company through the distribution value chain – including tank farm ownership and management, retail outlets and owning a fleet of oil tankers. She is also cofounder and Managing Director of Blacklight Energy Limited, one of Nigeria’s largest tank farm operators.  Her career in the oil and gas industry started in the maritime sector where she provided logistics services for oil traders. She oversaw the movement of petroleum products both offshore and within Nigeria – including inland waterways.  She successfully managed a fleet of nine Vessels ranging from 3,000 DWT to 48,000 DWT and grew Tubbs Marine & Energy from formation to becoming the largest indigenous tanker vessel owners in Nigeria. She earned the title ‘Queen of the Sea’ for being Nigeria’s largest female shipowner and, for her contribution to the maritime sector, she received a Presidential Recognition award in November, 2021.

Olatimbo has a certification in Trading Oil on International Markets from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Middlesex University London. Olatimbo also has a successful fixed income trading business, and founded Silent Whispers, a foundation aimed at mentoring, elevating and the sponsorship of vulnerable women.
